Policy rate: one-year Loan Prime Rate (LPR)

Headline is the 1-year LPR. The LPR is quoted by the National Interbank Funding Center (全国银行间同业拆借中心) under PBoC authorisation and published monthly; the PBoC posts each announcement on its own site. The 5-year-and-above LPR is 3.5% (in force since 2025-05-20, when it went from 3.6% to 3.5%, per the PBoC announcement of 2026-09-20). Each LPR stays valid until the next publication.
